FAQs

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?
When you arrive at the church, park in one of our first-time parking spots on the east side of the building and enter through the doors marked W5, where our greeters will welcome you and your family. If you have children, our team will help you check them in and walk you to their classrooms. You can sit anywhere you like inside the Worship Center.
WHAT IS THE SERVICE LIKE?
Our worship gatherings consist of songs of praise, prayer, and scripture readings throughout, centered around the preaching of God's word from our Pastor. We read from the Christian Standard Version (CSB) of the Bible. The service lasts about an hour.
WHAT IS AVAILABLE FOR MY CHILDREN?
All our children’s workers are required to go through a background check and thorough training. We take the safety of your children very seriously.

During our 9:30 worship service, Preschoolers (birth-4 year olds) and Kindergarteners get checked in and attend preschool programming downstairs in our Children's Building. 1st Grade and up attend the worship service with their families. Our Children's Minister provides activity sheets located in the East Foyer that help them engage with the sermon.

Following our worship service, at 11:00am, Preschool-4th Grade get checked in and participate in life groups in the first and second floors of our Children's Building.
Preteens (5th-6th) meet in the Life Building upstairs.
Students (7th-12th) meet in the Life Building upstairs.

Greeters will help register your children when you arrive and give them a name badge with a parent pick-up tag for your birth-4th grade children. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or special requirements during the check-in time. At the end of the service, simply show your parent pick-up tag to the teacher in your child’s classroom and your child will be released to you.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Some dress casually and some dress up. You are welcome to come exactly as you are, so wear whatever you normally would to an event you value.
WHEN AND WHERE IS THE SERVICE?
Our worship service meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30AM in the Worship Center.

Our Life Groups meet at 11:00AM. Life Groups are for all ages, they are designed to help you experience community with others around God’s Word.
DO YOU OFFER ANYTHING FOR SPECIAL NEEDS?

We provide care on Sundays at 9:30am during the Worship Service & at 11am during Life Groups. For more information, visit our Special Needs Ministry page.
IS ANYTHING OFFERED IN OTHER LANGUAGES?
For Spanish speakers, we provide listening devices where you can listen to the service translated live. We also have both English & Spanish lyrics, scripture passages, and sermon points displayed on the screens. Following the worship service, our Spanish Minister leads our Life Group en Español in room W1. For more information, visit our En Español page.

For the Deaf community, we provide live American Sign Language interpretation of our worship service. There is a designated seating area towards the front of the worship center where you can watch the interpreter. Following the worship service, there is also a Deaf Life Group you can participate in located in the West foyer. For more information, visit our Deaf Ministry Page.
DO YOU HAVE SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDIES WHERE I CAN GROW AND MEET MORE PEOPLE?
Yes! The best way to meet people and get connected at First Mansfield is by going to one of our Life Groups. We have Life Groups that meet for Bible study and fellowship on Sunday mornings at 11:00 am for all ages. View a list of all our life group options on our Life Groups page under the Ministries tab.
